Empowering Through Performing Arts
Founded in 2023, Lake Nona Arts is dedicated to enriching adult lives through inclusive choir, orchestra, and theatre programs in Southeast Orlando. Over 40 adults participated in just the first month. In just two years, over 300 adults have delivered a dozen performances throughout the community, spreading joy and bringing the arts to life for local residents.
Our adult choir welcomes singers at all levels of experience to explore music across genres and improve technique. The orchestra provides instrumentalists with ensemble training and rehearsals that challenge and inspire. The theatre program offers opportunities to act, direct, design, or participate in technical roles. Participants build confidence and hone collaboration and storytelling skills. Audiences enjoy the arts through separate and combined performances, and often decide to join us.
Meet the Board
Our founding board members are a dedicated group of volunteers who have come together to support our community non-profit. With diverse backgrounds and a shared passion for making a difference, they bring valuable insights and expertise to our organization. Each member plays a vital role in guiding our and ensuring we effectively serve the needs of our community. Together, they embody spirit of service and commitment that defines our organization.
President
Stephanie Houde
Stephanie has a bachelor's degree in music, specializing in vocal performance and a master's degree in music from George Mason University. She spent over 10 years in a multi-faceted music career, from teaching middle school choir and private piano and voice students, leading bands, as well as some gigging. She is excited about the future of music and the arts in the Lake Nona area. Stephanie is our choir and orchestra director.
Vice President & Treasurer
Jonathan Morris
Jonathan has a varied musical background that includes more than 20 years as a choral director, nine years of studies in music composition, and several stints in audio engineering in studio and supporting live performances. He is eager to help the Lake Nona Choir enrich our side of Orlando by allowing people to share in the arts. Jonathan is the co-director of the community choir.

Kevin Houde-Mulvihill
Music has always been a part of Kevin's life in some capacity. He has always wanted to be a part of a community choir, but struggled to find a local arts group. When Stephanie approached Kevin about starting the Lake Nona Arts group he was eager to get involved. The opportunity to build a community through music is not one he wanted to miss. Kevin looks forward to collaborating with the members of the community, and to embark on this journey together.
